1. Overview
Reltronland is organized as a large, highly decentralized geographic and administrative system composed of provinces, cities, regencies, districts, and smaller localities. Its settlement structure is intentionally modular rather than concentrated around a single dominant urban center.
A province may contain several different types of places at the same time:
-
a major provincial core;
-
large metropolitan or regional cities;
-
specialist cities;
-
logistics and transportation nodes;
-
ecological and scientific centers;
-
diplomatic or border gateways;
-
secondary and tertiary urban settlements;
-
autonomous districts and specialized urban districts.
The result is a geographically distributed national network in which political, economic, industrial, scientific, ecological, cultural, and transportation functions are spread across many nodes.
This document describes the currently established provinces and the cities and districts associated with them. Names listed as established are preserved as part of the current Reltronland geographic canon. Additional names may be introduced later as the national geographic model is expanded.
2. Reltronland
Reltronland is the national territory and the highest-level geographic unit in the current map model.
Its geography is characterized by:
-
very large territorial scale;
-
extensive urban and interurban connectivity;
-
strong regional specialization;
-
decentralized settlement;
-
major metropolitan systems;
-
extensive maritime and inland transportation;
-
specialized scientific and technological zones;
-
ecological regions;
-
border and international gateway regions.
The national urban system is therefore better understood as a network of interconnected regional systems than as a hierarchy dominated by one city.
The principal provinces currently represented in the geographic model are:
- Reltralia
- Rathroper
- Reltronepolis
- Troneiput
- Reiweston
- Rufintern
- Leastroper
3. Reltralia
Provincial Character
Reltralia is the central political and administrative province of Reltronland. It lies directly south of Reltronepolis and shares a direct provincial boundary with Reltronepolis. This position makes Reltralia one of the country's most important coordination regions and establishes a major north-south relationship between the two provinces.
Its principal role is national administration, governance, strategic coordination, and high-level institutional activity.
Reltralia is also an important transportation nexus. Major national routes converge on the province, allowing it to connect Reltronepolis to the southern regions while also linking the broader northern, eastern, and western transportation systems of Reltronland.
The province is not defined exclusively by government activity. Its wider urban system includes administrative centers, professional districts, commercial areas, residential settlements, institutional complexes, and supporting transportation nodes.
Principal City: Reltralia
Reltralia is the principal urban and administrative center of the province.
The city functions as the national political and administrative nexus. Major institutions, governmental organizations, strategic planning bodies, and national-level services are concentrated here.
Its geographic position makes it especially important for national connectivity. The city also serves as a major distribution point within Reltronland's long-distance transportation system.
Urban Character
Reltralia is a large, highly developed administrative metropolis rather than a purely governmental city. Its urban structure combines:
-
national institutions;
-
administrative complexes;
-
professional services;
-
research and policy institutions;
-
commercial centers;
-
residential districts;
-
transportation hubs;
-
supporting urban infrastructure.

10. National Urban Structure
The provinces of Reltronland do not have identical urban structures.
Each province contributes a different combination of geographic, economic, administrative, ecological, and transportation functions.
| Province | Primary Geographic Role | Urban Character |
|---|---|---|
| Reltralia | Central administrative region | High-density administrative and institutional network |
| Rathroper | Northern maritime-industrial region | Port, industrial, logistics, and regional cities |
| Reltronepolis | Eastern/east-central metropolitan region | Highly polycentric mega-metropolitan system |
| Troneiput | Western trade and border region | Trade, logistics, freight, and inland gateway cities |
| Reiweston | Western coastal and marine-technology region | Coastal, maritime, scientific, and technology cities |
| Rufintern | Southern mountain and ecological region | Lower-density ecological, scientific, agricultural, and mountain settlements |
| Leastroper | Eastern diplomatic and border region | Diplomatic, commercial, logistics, and gateway cities |
This asymmetry is intentional.
Reltronepolis may contain a very high concentration of interconnected urban nodes, while Rufintern may rely more heavily on smaller specialized settlements. Rathroper may be organized around maritime and industrial corridors, while Reltralia is dominated by administrative and institutional connectivity.
11. Provincial Cores and Regional Networks
The geographic model can be represented as a national network:
RATHROPER
│
│
RELTRALIA
/ │ \\
/ │ \\
REIWESTON │ RELTRONEPOLIS
\ │ / \\
\ │ / LEASTROPER
\ │ /
TRONEIPUT
│
│
RUFINTERN
This diagram is conceptual rather than a precise geographic projection.
The national system is better represented as a network of overlapping corridors:
Province
├── Provincial Core
├── Regional Cities
├── Specialist Cities
├── Logistics Nodes
├── Ecological Nodes
├── Border / Gateway Nodes
├── Metropolitan Districts
└── Secondary & Tertiary Settlements
The same province can therefore contain multiple independent centers of activity.
12. Relationship Between Cities and Districts
A city does not necessarily represent one continuous, homogeneous urban mass.
Large cities may contain multiple districts with distinct identities and functions.
For example, Reltronepolis contains:
-
central commercial districts;
-
global business districts;
-
metropolitan transportation districts;
-
northern urban districts;
-
southern specialist districts;
-
eastern technological and metropolitan districts;
-
western urban districts;
-
an edge mega-node represented by RAIA.
This produces a layered urban structure in which transportation, employment, housing, commerce, technology, research, and public services are distributed across different locations.
A similar approach can be applied to the other provinces as their detailed geographic structures are developed.
12A. Key Provincial Spatial Relationships
The current geographic model establishes several important direct provincial relationships.
Reltronepolis ↔ Reltralia
Reltronepolis lies north of Reltralia, and the two provinces share a direct provincial boundary.
This makes the Reltronepolis–Reltralia interface one of the most important north-south geographic relationships in the national system. Reltronepolis provides a major metropolitan and economic concentration, while Reltralia functions as the principal political and administrative nexus immediately to its south.
The two provinces should therefore be represented as adjacent provinces, not as provinces separated by an intermediate territory.
Reltronepolis ↔ Leastroper
RAIA occupies the northeastern tip of Reltronepolis and directly borders Leastroper province.
Troneiput
Tronelia remains in the geographic heart of Troneiput province and functions as its central urban and transportation node.

14. Geographic Development Direction
The current Reltronland map should be developed as a distributed national settlement network rather than by continuously enlarging a small number of cities.
Future geographic expansion can introduce:
- additional regional cities;
- specialist cities;
- logistics cities;
- ecological settlements;
- industrial centers;
- research cities;
- transportation hubs;
- border gateways;
- autonomous metropolitan districts;
- secondary and tertiary settlements.
The objective is to create a geographically believable system in which every province has its own internal logic while remaining deeply connected to the national network.
Reltronland's geography should therefore read as a large interconnected civilization composed of many specialized places rather than as one continuous megacity.
15. Canon Status
This document distinguishes between established geographic entities and development candidates.
Established provinces, cities, and districts represent the current geographic canon.
Candidate city and district names are retained as an expansion pool and should not automatically be treated as finalized geographic entities until they are assigned a specific location and function in the detailed map.
The detailed [x, y, z] geographic coordinates, exact boundaries, elevation profiles, transportation topology, and final spatial relationships remain part of the subsequent 3D geographic development process.
